D’banj’s C.R.E.A.M Platform set to relaunch MTN’s Best of the Streets, a dynamic initiative dedicated to discovering raw, untapped talent from grassroots communities across the country. The latest edition kicked off on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, with an impressive prize pool of ₦250 million.

This year promises to be the most impactful yet, with plans to reward and spotlight over 2,500 creatives. Speaking about the initiative, D’banj shared:

We have changed lives and now with our newly launched distribution arm and creative grants we are not just discovering talents we are giving them the tools to take them global. The official reactivation event was held at the MTN Office in Ikoyi and saw the presence of influential figures from the entertainment industry and beyond. Among the guests were renowned music executive Chris Anokute—who has worked with global stars like Katy Perry, Muni Long, and Rihanna—alongside Dandizzy, P.Priime, Matthew Ohio, the Honorable Commissioner for Youth Mobolaji Ogunlende, and Obi Asika, among other notable industry leaders and creatives.

The event featured insightful conversations on the initiative’s far-reaching impact and how it aims to uplift young creatives across Nigeria. Several key stakeholders lent their voices to the dialogue, marking the launch with a strong sense of purpose and promise.
