As a follow-up to Marenikae’s new single “As I Be,” she has released a new stunning music video to accompany it, which was directed by renowned music director, Olu the Wave.
Marenikae was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. Released her first mixtape titled “REIGN OF THE MUSE” in 2014 and her debut album “AJEBUTTER” in 2017.
She has released two singles (As I Be and Deliverance) off her upcoming project, “ACQUIRED TASTE.”
Marenikae further explores her self-created Afro-Merge genre by releasing the music video for her latest single, “As I Be.”
The exuberant new video is reminiscent of Marenikae’s genre-defying and avant-garde music with its Afro-futuristic elements, auteurist vibe, stunning fashion, and dazzling pop of colour.
