Alternative artist and producer SirBastien returns with Jungle Flakes, a vibrant 7-track EP blending indie guitars, electronic grooves, and Afrobeat drums, inspired by his move from Ibadan to Belgium and the start of a new chapter in life.

Jungle Flakes was entirely self-produced, mixed, and mastered by SirBastien, with Laetho co-producing “Your Name,” “Talking In Signs,” and “Eye Spy,” as well as rearranging “The Whistle Song.” The EP features guest vocals from Nanette (“Your Name”) and RubyyXo (“The Whistle Song”). Lead single “Calogero” anchors the project, alongside earlier releases “Talking In Signs,” “Your Name,” and “The Whistle Song.”
Though the lyrics often reflect personal transitions, the sound remains light and sweet. “It’s like a bowl of cereal that actually wakes you up,” says SirBastien. Across tracks like the amapiano-tinged “Eye Spy” and the joyful “Your Name,” the project moves fluidly between alt-pop, indie R&B, and Afro-electronic moods, with playful percussion and bright synth textures tying it all together.

Nigerian-French artist SirBastien blends his dual heritage into a rich mosaic of sounds, aiming for a broader international audience with Jungle Flakes while staying true to his DIY spirit and sonic curiosity that define his sound. Listen here
