LYB recently put out his sophomore track ‘Hold You Down’ a feel-good afropop record largely inspiring after the rekindling an unhealthy relationship. At first listen, ‘Hold You Down’ sounds like the typical afropop formula but it subtly morphs into an irresistible bop stealing the spotlight and lighting up the room.

Although LYB only has a few singles and collaborations out, he’s been recording since 2016 and has taught himself how to play a few instruments— a skill that strengthens the weight of emotional lyricism expressed by the artist.
The artist us currently working on his debut EP which will be out by the third quarter of the year, revealing that it features collaborations from other young, talented artists and producers.

He is inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, Runtown, Mr Eazi, Future and Popcaan.
