Gbenga Ojubanire is a Nigerian born Afro-pop and trap singer by the stage name Derek Saucer. Born on September 25, 1995. The Lagos State Polytechnic graduate had always been a music enthusiast right from his childhood. His self-discovery search brought by his passion for music birthed his musical journey. His debut singles “Desire” and “Dreams”, both released in 2017, telling his story and how music became a getaway route for him. “Run for love” in 2018 shows the love optimist Derek Saucer had always been. “Feels” on which he featured 199XGENG and GZEEY show the versatility Derek Saucer is about and the future of trap music in the Nigerian music industry.

It is not far fetched to say Derek Saucer is the future of Afro-pop and trap music in Nigeria. He also recently released an Afro-Pop single “I’m Shy” featuring Gzeey.

Following up the general acceptance of his recent single, I’m Shy, Derek Saucer expresses love and emotion with infectious melodies in a fun way that captivates the soul.

He flexes his songwriting skill in conjunction with amazing producers, Soundz and Meerharmix. Derek Saucer proves yet again that he understands music so much that it’s his love language. The ladies man presents this piece, Afro Sauce.
