Review
It is impossible to believe that this project was recorded by Reminisce himself with nothing but YouTube tutorials and solid advice. The project definitely shows where Reminisce is in his career. It carries the personal feel that is lacking in many projects of this calibre. To properly appreciate this project, you’ll only need to have ears that are willing to accommodate a new experience.
Oh! We absolutely loved the features, especially with his kids and Ogaranya. TMXO did a wonderful job on the project.
The only sore spot for this project is perhaps it’s arrangement. However, if the market is anything to go by, fans seldom jam the entire body of work— people just pick their faves and move on. This makes it difficult to give the project’s arrangement an A+. However, playlisting more than makes up for this and turns it to a plus point from a business standpoint.
Vibes and Inshalla is a thoughtful project. It presents us with the more introspective Reminisce. The guy who is counting his blessings and being honest about his own realities. It appeals to both mature audiences who can relate to the 30+ vibes and those who were not around for his revolutionary “Kako Bi Chicken” era.
For an EP— it hits the mark!
