Review
We have come to appreciate Odunsi’s mastery of the art of project arrangement. EYHIT is not a let down arrangement-wise as it flows organically from one single to the other. Also, the production on this project is impressive, we have come to expect that from Odunsi. Tracks like “wicked, sexy!” which was teased before the drop came with the heat on this project. We also loved what the project represents for women in the industry— proof of this is in “body count (feat. Amaarae, DETO Black & Gigi Atlantis)”.
As close as the production on this project is in comparison to rare. (Odunsi’s debut album), it is not rare. There’s something in EYHIT for everyone but the cost is, the replay value for more impatient listeners. The result is that quality tracks like “airplane mode” and “nü finesse” suffer.
If you’re looking for a 2020 project that has something for everyone, is properly produced and leaves you interested enough to expect another project— EYHIT is yours for the taking.
